Anthemia are proud to be hosting the pre-party for Fantazia @ The Jubilee Room, Kings Hall Stoke.
D'Borah, ChrissyB, Pieman, and Ant-Spyke will be spinning the best in oldskool choons warming you up for the HUGE party in the KIngs Hall.
Anthemia's' own Nick Sheldon is playing alongside Matrix Club Mix in the House Legends Room.

All the Anthemiacs brought 2011 in by dancing the night away! Great trouble-free night with like-minded people. Many thanks to everyone who comes to Anthemia and makes it the fabulous night it is. Well what a cracking FULL-ON 80s night we provided for you all you Anthemiacs on the 2nd July! 100% vinyl with non-stop back2back mixing with Anthemia resident Nick Sheldon & guest DJ Pete Bromley. The place was jumping to the sounds of Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, Deskee!!!, Grandmaster Flash, Shannon, Human League, The Jam, Cameo, A Guy called Gerald, Banarama, Spear of Destiny, Newcleus, Chris (The Glove) taylor, The Beat, The Specials, the list goes on and on. I played an old electro hip hop for the first hour and half.
Absolutely loved hearing all the old choons again, and the mad thing is...Even though I aint played them for over 20 years, I still remembered all the words.
The new venue 'Leek Central Club' is perfect. Brand new clean toilets that are like the sort that you get in a top class hotel (I kid you not - I thought a butler-type guy was gonna offer me a mint!! - lol). The bar was top notch! No more running out off beer, and you got served very quickly.
We had two professional photographers from dontstayin.com that were only going to stay for an hour!
LOL they were helping us pack up in the end. Brilliant  As soon as we get hold of any of the photos we will stick them up on here ASAP, and let you all know.
Total hassle-free clubbing, with lots of serious dancing ALL night NON-STOP.

Great article in the Leek Post & Times today 10/03/2010 on page 20 - 21.
I suggest you buy it if only for the LandRover story on page 12 :) (If you don't know..Nick loves his old LandRovers)
The article has a typo which reads that our next event is Saturday March 20th, which is in fact Friday March 19th @ Leek central Club.
Not to worry as Nick, Chris & Deb have been informing everyone all day.

After ten months and eight fantastic events @ the same club, we have outgrown the venue. Many thanks to Steve for letting us do our stuff. Its been a great venue and will always have many happy memories for everyone who came to Anthemia.

New Years Eve was an absolute blast. We played everything from 80's, 90's, oldskool....beatles???? hehe. Great fun was had by everyone. The new drapes looked excellent! As usual there was no trouble whatsoever, just happy people dancing the night away :) Thank you ANTHEMIACS and HAPPY NEW YEAR :P NOW:::::::::The Big NEWS::::::: Head on over to here : 1stBirthdayAt last...We can tell you what we have been planning.
Another fantastic night was had by all on our 90's Classics night. The atmosphere was unbelievable! which was summed up by one of the Anthemiacs in one sentence: "Best night out I've had since Shelleys shut down!" <-- You don't get any better praise than that! The music was top-notch and was totally across the board, from Oldskool Classics - Alison Limerick 'Where Love Lives', to more commercial dance classics - Faithless 'Insomnia', to Indie anthems - Charlatans 'The Only One I Know'. there was something for everyone, and they were all up for it. The crowd were superb with zero hassle, and all out for the dancing. Hambo did a guest spot for us, and warmed the crowd up brilliantly, and then joined Nick Sheldon, and ChrissyB and D'Borah throughout the night as all four of them went back to back whipping the crowd up into a frenzy. May 29th Review:
What a night the first Bubbles Anthemia OldSkool was. The atmosphere was electric with a crowd that was well up for it! Choons were coming at ya like a bulldozer! Sound and lighting (LASER) was spot-on. The venue is very unique, with its three huge interactive plasma screens showing the DJs to all the revellers. Twenty leather sofas give it a very classy feel. which was excellent as the all the ladies were dressed to the nines. The sofas didn't get much attention as the dancefloor was full..NON-STOP.....ALL-NIGHT.....STOMPING.......HANDS IN THE AIR!!!

The feedback has been nothing but complimentary. People are already reserving/buying their tickets for the next night which is now confirmed as JULY 17th.
